I couldn't focus on the ending cause I was confused.

Was the girl a witch or the witch that was killed years earlier or was she possessed?

When Becky shows her true face she said that the painting was always there, she was always there and she was waiting for them and Becky, implying that "she" is the witch evil spirit and waiting for Becky to come and possess her body.

 

Yeah, I took it to be that Becky was possessed. However, the original witch probably resembled her because the drawing of the original burning featured a redhead.
