Okay, I'm probably overthinking this but how did the villagers ever kill the witch a hundred years ago, she made all of these folks go splat with very little effort. I guessed she was a witch the moment they got there and she claimed Goran was traveling, although I didn't figure she was possessed by the original witch.

Kris Lemche hasn't even aged since Joan of Arcadia, maybe he really is God.

I kind of wondered the same thing. I was hoping it would be that little old lady that approached with the cross after everyone else was dead, but nope, she died too. Maybe they didn't succeed this time because she had stored up so much power by being resurrected so many times. Who knows? It is a valid question but doesn't hinder the fact that I enjoyed the movie.
