Sarah...

She literally aggravated me the whole film. When she kept talking in the shots, asking Greg about Afghanistan, then yelling Witch in the bar.. The thing that irritated me the most is that she acted like the victim..

reply

I hated her.... So much in the movie.

Yeah, they really did seem forced.. Nobody with any kinda sense repeatedly asks questions like that. If you seen it was hurting him after the first time, then console him and let it go until he wants to tell you about it. I wouldn't trust that kinda secret with her..

The annoying part was that it felt like she was meant to be the protagonist and we, the viewer, were supposed to side with her over the b*tchy character (Kate) but it didn't work for me..it just made me sympathise further with Kate..I'm not sure if this was the intention or not; it was either really poor film making or brilliant. I won't put any spoilers here but I thought it worked overall.

Agreed. The whole time I was watching the movie I kept telling myself, "just wait, she is going to get an ax to the face."

She did have plenty of annoying moments, yes, but was there anything like a fully sympathetic and likeable character in this movie? I think Greg was the closest. Alex acted like a douchebag all the time, Kate was so vile and b!tchy it was almost fun, the locals were all stereotypes, and Becky seemed like a nice lady up until that spectacular u-turn of hers (although I admit that ending actually made me like her, which I guess we were supposed to).

That it was obviously intended to be a horror-comedy helped me tolerate them all though.

Me too. The only i loved that she did was when she finally acted out at Kate and asked if she should just sleep with them all instead. Priceless!
