Deleted scene?

That rich snob kid who had the fancy truck loved to thumb his nose down on the poor main character who only had that beaten up old junker of a truck, he loved to show his superiority.

A scene I was totally expecting and I feel cheated that it did not happen was for him to challenge that rich snob guy with the token girlfriend to a race with their trucks and win due to the power of the monster that replaces his engine and for the rich kid to suffer major embarrassment (and fail to notice the hidden tentacles). I so wanted that.
