Reviews for a film like this

Is a total waste of your time. You don't think for a minute that a adult critic can view a film like this with innocent eyes? They are trying to bury this exactly how they buried one of the best films for children, THE IRON GIANT. I'm an adult with very sophisticated taste in film, but having seen the trailer for this ,it just might turn out to be a guilty pleasure.

I think I just found the two biggest fanboys for this POS movie.

Have you actually seen it? It's a pretty fun, silly kids movies. Critics piled on because the bad gossip.

Hating on this movie is crazy to me. It is not even a 'guilty' pleasure, I just liked it. Knowing it's a teen movie. The premise is nuts but it... makes sense when you see the movie. It's well done and never dumbs down the audience which is kinda rare these days with these types of productions.

Did you see it in 3D?
If this has a lot of 3D coming out of the screen at you stuff, it probably could be a fun watch.
Cinemablend hasn't reviewed the 3D yet.

The hate for this really does spotlight the weird hollow anger in imdb haters in general. This is made for kids, not for lonely basement dwellers who live to argue Marvel vs. DC ( I would say it isn't made for adults but imdb haters don't fully qualify as adults).
I'm sure if I was 9 and saw this I would love it. I will probably never see this, I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy it, but I don't see any need to smear my pain all over in the guise of a bad review.

I saw the film with a 7 and 9 year-old. You're right, they enjoyed it. As an adult, I also enjoyed it. The message of protecting our environment is at the end of the film. There is room for discussion with the children. Again, it IS a good film!

I agree - lovers of dark serious movies that tend to win tons of oscars etc and are reminiscent of film noir - will hate it !

Everyone else who can take it as it is meant to be - a lighthearted comedy adventure for younger audiences that also sits well with adults - will enjoy it, if not love it !

It is not supposed to be sophisticated with a deep message, it is supposed to be fun and full of frolicks !
