Waste of time

It was one of the worst things I have ever seen and I am shocked at the positive reviews.

I TOTALLY agree . . .

SO bad.


Just to hit a few dud-hilights here, the first problem - trying to figure out what year this was . . .

2. Finally figure out it's apparently modern
day because of the car makes ...

creating the next set if problems ...

3-4-5 ....
No cell phones or internet???

This PI used payphones constantly ... When is the last time anyone saw a pay
phone?
They are virtually non-existent . . .

And indeed if it's modern day, this PI was driving one of the most
conspicuous-attention getting cars possible ...

6-7-8-9 ...etc, etc

Some of the acting was terrible - amateurish.

I thought the Nikki character gave the lighter back during the church scene.
A few minutes later - the Serbs are searching his office & hand it to him ...?

Possibley the worst illogical scenes:

This PI sleeps with a hammer . . . heard a bump in the night, and goes with a hamner? The only thing worse than bringin' a knife to a gun fight ... is a hammer ...


When he and Nikki are running from the suits in the abandoned plant - he manages to beat up a guy - then continues running without gettin' the guys gun. . .

Immediately following - Gerofalo's character kills another suit - he doesn't get his gun either ...
Gerofalo fell, shot, no one gets her gun either ....

C'MON!!!

What sort of stretch, leaps, & bounds out of reality is this movie insisting I make???


This is where I finally ejected the movie from my DVD player . . .


I try to be positive - so, ok . . .
the PI was good-lookin'. . .
but . . .

TOO dumb - at first his arched eyebrow was kinda sexy - then I realized he was just an idiot, clueless . . .

Was this meant to be a comedy??? If they had done the movie as a full-on comedy this kind of stuff coulda worked - but it's called a 'drama'?

Why exploit Tesla in a cheezy movie...?

If you made it to the end- tell me - at the end, did this guy wake up from a bad dream where he was a terrible PI, on a beach with his beautiful girlfriend ...?

I wonder of Redbox will refund the buck-62 I blew on this dud?

I sure can't get back the last hour . . .
