I think that there ware certain rules about films being submitted for Oscar nominations, and this film has not had a national release yet. However, I think that if it does get released theatrically with no television broadcasts later this year, maybe somewhere between July-January 2016, then perhaps it might be eligible for submission to the Academy Awards. After all, it already won the Best Picture Awards at the OutFest Film Festival (Los Angeles) and the American Indian Film Festival (San Francisco.)
