quite dissapointing, sadly

I was really looking forward to this, good reviews and an interesting subject yet sadly I found it quite dull. I don´t think that it is bad, but rather that is just extremely mediocre. There are for sure a lot of interesting stuff going on here, I love the idea of portraying this generation that is so ambitious that they are bound for failure, I think that is interesting, but it never really explored it enough. The film quickly began repeating itself and so the first two acts, really only have the meat of half an hour. The last half hour or so did step up, but it was too late to save the movie. The acting was also quite uneven I think, even the lead actor was quite good in some scenes, whilst he looked like he didn´t know how to appear natrual at other times. Also it was a bit tonally uneven at times, especially with all the daft punk stuff, though it was fun, it didn´t really work for the most part i think. If you are interested in this movie I would say, go see, but if you are very on the fence, I would say that you are not really missing out by skipping it.
