Greta Gerwig stands out like a sore thumb in this movie. I don't know if it's just the writing, but her acting is so awkward.

absolutely agree, i usually really like her, but she was kind of awful here. I don´t think it was just her fault though, all the scenes spoken in english felt poorly written and awkwardly directed.

yeah i noticed this too. She is usually a great actress, but she was incredibly weak in this one. Like, to the point that I almost literally did not recognize her.
