I'm blown away by this. ADX Florence is a SuperMax prison. As stated in the film, it houses people like Ted Kaczynski, Zacarias Moussaoui, and Timothy McVeigh.

The jury makes guilty-not guilty decisions, ultimately a Judge can determine the extent of the sentence, from a slap in the wrist to a maximum sentence and in some instances extend the sentence, so don't piss a judge off, they are untouchable apparently.
