so many things i didn't understand.

first of all, why wasn't the main pedophile in jail (the one that kept harrassing nick)? he sent him letters confessing his crimes.

when they arrested nancy, why the heck didn't they check the rest of the house? they arrested her for a reason, which to me means they search the rest of the house for more evidence and they would have found bjorn.

how did nick know to go to joff's house at the end? i must have missed where that came from?

the whole movie was confusing. i mean, i understand the jist of it, but the pieces don't add up in my head. bjorn looked WAY younger than nick to have made the connected that that was his brother.

There hadn't been enough evidence.

When they arrested Nancy she had already moved Bjorn to the caravan.

Nick guessed which family was in peril because when he spoke to the mother during the house-to-house questioning after Robin was murdered, Joff told his mother that the milk had disappeared. When Nick snuck into the hospital to see if Alex remembered anything strange before the "event", Alex told him about their house smelling of urine and milk bottles/containers going missing and later found at the bottom of the garden.

oooh, i thought that was her house where bjorn was, makes sense because it was soooo small. and the missing bottles makes sense. thanks! :)
