Loves the film and this is just a minor goof but when Mr Urine is in the dark room, he opens the film can exposing it to red light before dropping it in a bath of developer.
This would ruin the film but he is seen getting prints off it.
orthochromatic film is not sensitive to red light and would not be affected. very early films were orthochromatic, but it wasn't used for standard photography or film-making after good-quality panchromatic films became widely available. up until recently, ortho was used to make plates via photographic process for industrial printing (like a newspaper), and is frequently called "graphic arts film". anyone using it for photos now would likely be doing so for an artistic effect, as the red-insensitive film does not properly render the full spectrum of greys in accurate relation to the actual color.
