Thanks for the links, they really show how Tim has zero understanding of drawing, painting, perspective, light, and visual presentation.
It's very easy to see that Vermeer did NOT use some "super lens", because his drawing and perspective are very hand drawn, sloppily imprecise and nowhere near the accuracy that Tim imagines.
On the other hand, Tim's attempt is truly "paint by numbers" with flat tones applied all over and it's missing loads of the light and shadow tones that add dimensionality to Vermeer's painting.
Almost hilarious how different they are, but then the documentary isn't really about reproducing a Vermeer, it's about Tim's obsession.
