The movie wasn't horrible but it was anticlimactic.

I admit, I have not seen the original so I have no idea how it ended but I kept waiting for Rosemary to do something either to the baby or with the baby...like either jump out of the window with the baby in her arms or throw the baby in the river. Instead she just walked along the river pushing the stroller as if there was nothing wrong. Ho hum.

This was crap compared to the original.

In a word, yes. Which is why I was hoping that in this version if she at least kills the baby and/or herself to spite the evil devil worshipers that would at least set it apart from the original, but no, they went the easy/lazy route.

Even the made-for-tv Carrie remake was bold enough to have Carrie live at the end.

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.

The original movie was a masterpiece. The ending was incredibly dramatic...horrifying and dramatic.
