Something else missing: None of the HUMOR of the Polanski version


They left out all of the humor that was used so effectively in the Polanski version (Minnie's quirks, Roman's and Minnie's bickering, Laura-Louise sticking her tongue out ...)

One of the things that made the original a classic.

Yes, I didn't like the Margaux character so much.
Also, they changed quite a lot which didn't compromise the story but showing the baby was a flaw IMHO.
Adrian had his father's feet and hands which are supposed to be beast-like, complete with a tail and horns. Not that blue-eyed cute baby we're shown.

Part of the suspense consisted in NOT showing the child.
