Yeah, it has.. Long ago. However, some ****heads still think it'll *add* to their movie - somehow (?!); it's always annoying, beyond belief.
Funny thing is, when you look @teh Cloverfield boards (and similar), there are (actually) people who enjoy shaky-cam 'n all; 20 years later, I guess they (still) consider it avant-garde, backward redneck villagers. =)

Was shakey cam ever really considered avant-garde? Even with cloverfield it was annoying as *beep* It just seems like it is just a cost cutting measure now instead of shelling out the extra cash for a body stablizer.
