I really loved this show but it's become formulaic and predictable.

The show has become formulaic drama.

- The employees suddenly open up about how much they dislike their boss' behavior, and they all turn on him/her

- The employees feel empowered to start throwing their boss under the bus for every little thing if Marcus is around

- Marcus finds some employee who is under-appreciated, and this employee is painted to be a saint. This person will get more responsibility and a small share in equity in the business.

- Grown Men may start to cry on camera

- Marcus goes ahead with a complete overhaul of the store and it's logos, usually with little to no input from the business owner.

- Surprise, Marcus comes back months later and finds out that the Business owner switched things back and now openly complains to Marcus that he doesn't like the changes

This is the formula for most of the episodes on this show. I'm starting to grow weary of it....

I think that is human nature. I get bored with Shark Tank, a show I used to watch religiously.

The profit isn't that bad because I think each episode they try to focus on different aspects of running a business. Sometimes it's marketing or production or execution or employee relations or finances.

I don't mind the set up and the happy ending and the flow where things happen at certain times. It's only an hour show. I pay attention to the changes being made not the production elements.
