Southpaw (2015) vs Creed (2015)

SOUTHPAW IS THE BETTER FILM...CREED HAS ALL THOSE NOSTALGIC TINGLIES THOUGH.

Oh Creed, by a huge margin.

Southpaw bored me senseless while Creed exhilarated me. I’ll admit I’m a huge Rocky fan but even so, I think Creed is far more engaging and technically a better made film.

I had a lot of issues with Creed but Creed easily wins this battle.

Southpaw was a joke. Riddled with awful characters, redundant cliche's, and Jake Gyllenhaal doing his worst Eminem impression.

Creed by far.

Creed by far. Southpaw wasn't that good

I really like both a lot. Southpaw is for me the better drama, Creed is for me the better boxing movie. Southpaw hammers really into the guts and is impressive, but Creed is the more comfortable movie. I would recommend both fully, but checking my ratings, I gave Southpaw the heads up with 8, while Creed got 7, but both are basically a 7.5 for me.
Creed is definitely a very good continuation of the Rocky Franchise.
