shareBro, have you seen movies made in UK ?? they suck like hell, yet their ratings are above 7.5 .. comparing to a good hollywood movie, UK movies should be a 3 or 2.5 .. Movies like May (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303361/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) has a rating of 6.7 when they should be 1.5 .. Ratings are ALWAYS biased, dictated by individual ethnic or cult groups.. THAT IS WHY before going into judgement about how a movie is, you should see NUMBER of persons who rated... I dont see you complaining about other *beep* movies having HIGHER rating .. then nijer desher movie nie kano problem ? 1992 er pore ami 1st bangla movie dekhechi hall e gie BECOZ of Ananta .. no matter how much fun we make of him, he DID bring a good crowd back into the halls .. HAVE respect for locality. Stop licking Hindi / English movie's *beep*

I really do agree with you. But when he compares himself with Mr. Tom Kurus (it should be Cruise actually), what will you say?
I appreciate his effort with Bangladeshi Film Industry, but can not support his acting or directing talent. He can be a very forceful Film Producer indeed.
I admire his goals, wanting to improve Bangla movie and all, but here are a few things you should know:
1. He mentioned himself that "Amar Banglay poblem ase, ami English medium theke to, tai. (Interview with Rosh-alo)" For a guy who does not know the value of respecting his own language (he thinks not knowing bangla makes him a badass), having goals like improving Bangladeshi film industry kinda makes him a hipocrite.
2. Movie-making is an art. He is butchering it, just like most of the FDC directors. So, he's no different. And no, his movies are not better; movies like Made in Bangladesh, Matir Moyna, Runway etc. Are wayyyyyy better than anything he could ever come up with.
3. He thinks that whole world revolves around him and giving ratings like these makes his beliefs stronger, inspiring more bullshido.
4. If he compares himself with Tom Cruise, he should have the quality to do so, which he clearly lacks.
