I did not see the movie

But isn't this kind of similar to Leprecaun

I tried to watch it. I sort of spaced out for a little while there, but no it's not at all like LEPRECHAUN. There are little creature characters, one with an Irish accent. I thought they were meant to be leprechauns, but I don't think the movie makes it clear what they are. A gold amulet thing or whatever can give it's possessor power over these creatures, whether it be for good or evil. The film's true villain is DeeDee played by Jeryl Prescott, who is using them to kill these would be models to magically steal their youth or something. Because you know all female villains obsess over their looks apparently.

Looking at the cover image of the evil looking leprecaun you would think that. Except the character in question looks far less monstrous in the film. He is actually a good fairy that is a short human with an acne problem. The character itself is a Farr Darrig. Sort of similar to the leprecaun except tends to wear red instead of green.
