Outraged at $17 ticket price, and you can't buy discount tickets...

Jesus ought to come back and strike down the money changers at the Christian movie promoters. Is anyone as mad as I am? I feel doubly ripped off, because it was supposed to be such a great film to take people to, but this scheme of not selling tickets except online and no tickets at the theater and only one night. And the silence here is deafening. I felt ripped off by Courageous, for several reasons, especially the idea of women as property, but this is somehow much worse.

I have no idea what you're talking about, I think someone gave you incorrect information then scammed you. I bought my ticket for $12.49 which is within the average movie ticket range around here.

Rave Cinemas in North Haven Ct had the ticket price of $17 posted. I started searching for discounts, and then when I went back to the screen to try for senior tickets, they showed as sold out. I heard that tickets were not available at the theater, and that is definitely true. Someone in my church bought a big pack, because she knows someone who works there. The Branford theater had $12 tickets. The $17 price seems to be standard when I compared with New York area tickets.

I am 20 min outside NY and paid 12.50. Not saying it wasn't 17 in NY, they typically charge more for any ticket. They had a second showing that night at multiple area theaters and it is showing again on the 3rd.
