I don't get how the person eating with the contestant are never suspicious. I can't imagine anyone has been "pulled aside" when they first sit down at a restaurant. So if that happened to someone I was eating with and they came back acting all weird, I'd be suspicious. No one really has pressed with "What did they want with you back there?" question
Not convinced this show isn't fake
They're all suspicious that something weird is going on, but they never suspect it's for a TV show because stuff like that isn't common so I'm sure they just think their friend or whoever is going bonkers.

shareBecause the show is fake. The people appearing on the show are very clearly reading off a script. The acting is atrocious.
shareI believe they are pre-screened, not pulled aside out of their meal. Thus the meeting with Theo and the guest in the back already took place before they sat down to the meal. The comedian doesn't just pick someone random because, as far as I can tell, the rest of the restaurant is full of actors or at least people in on it. Could be wrong, though.
