Absolutely amazing

If you're a fan of anime or rooster teeth you'll love this, the voice acting us amazing, the art and animation is gorgeous and I've never seen anything else like it, and the story is engaging, RWBY has made Thursday night my favorite night of the week

You lack taste to the point that it makes me sad. This is done on a dime budget and it shows. Characters flail wildly and you seem to be impressed merely by the fact that it's anime done in 3D. The voice acting is awful and generic, like a bad English dub of a Japanese series. the entire show is laughable in its utter failure.

You're out of your mind, first of all you can't call something thats been such an immediate success a failure, the art is beautifully done the entire show looks like a moving oil painting, You're obviously just a troll whose only three posts in four years are to crap on a nice guy and his show. Sorry its not Naruto or Yugioh bro you obviously can't follow a complex deep storyline full of rich and different characters each with their own backstories that will be revealed as the show goes on.

Actually I'm sure if this was made in Japan and recorded in Japanese you'd love it, but as a troll and a snob you immediately dismiss it because its american made. grow up and appreciate beauty where you see it not just where you want to see it.

You will all taste oblivion... Which tastes like Red Bull.... Which is disgusting!

Stupidest comment I've ever seen. "You're out of your mind". What?

"Immediate success". By what measure?

"looks like a moving oil painting". Just no.

"you're obviously a troll". Because someone disagrees with your praise, they must be joking!

"Sorry its not Naruto or Yugioh bro"

Where would did the previous comment indicate that Naruto or Yugioh are desirable? I won't get started on Naruto, and Yugioh, like any other anime, is animated pretty freaking lazily.

After watching several episodes, I know for a fact that there isn't a deep or meaningful storyline. No real plot has occurred, even after several episodes. This has nothing to do with the length of the episodes. RvB was similarly short, but had a LOT of plot, likable characters, better writing, great voice acting, and was done on an even smaller budget than this show. Complaints about the animation aside, this show sucks compared to other Rooster Teeth projects.

You don't know any more about the show than this guy here, and you seem pretty terrible at arguing your points. Maybe you should go back to watching Rwby and stop making assumptions about everyone who disagrees with you.

Dialogue in anime is never great, its always heavy handed and cheesy for the most part with occasional meaningful impact. As a fan of everything RT though I love the voice acting, maybe its my love of the actors themselves but I love the voices.

You're absolutely right the OST and score for RWBY is amazing I've spent more money on Itunes on RWBY music than any other music .

The real problem I think people struggle with is that the majority of the episodes are 4 minutes long, imagine breaking one episode of Trigun or Inuyasha or Bleach into 4 minute blocks, or even breaking down Akira into 4 minute episodes, would they be as loved as they are?

A friend told me to watch this and I'm grateful. This is a wonderful show. The episodes are getting longer and that helps. I want to be able to watch this series to completion. It just gets better.

I love this series. Sure, it seems like nothing but style over substance, but the story really develops by the end of volume 2. I like all of the characters and they do have their own personalities and charms. Yang is my favourite. And honestly, did I go into this show expecting much? Nope. I watched the trailers and enjoyed the action. That's what I'm mainly watching this for. I can't wait to see what happens in volume 3 because I've enjoyed what I've seen so far. I could just sit here and pick out all the obvious flaws of the show if I wanted to, but none of that really hinders my experience because I know the show is slowly improving.

For a western production, it's pretty damn good. If it was made in Japan, it would have been considered just so-so.

So glad this is on Netflix.
Probably never would have heard of it if it were not for Netflix.
Looks amazing. Cannot believe it's an American anime.

Sadly, RWBY's creator, Monty Oum passed away several days ago. I am in shock, and upset such a great US talent would die so soon. Studio Rooster Teeth will live on, but without its creative driving force. Life really sucks at times.

You do know he wasn't a part of RT until like 7 years or so after they got going right? He will of course be missed, but I'm pretty sure RT can carry on.
