Amazing Animation

This series needs waaaay more recognition, not to mention I love this unique style of animation not usual in anime series. Its like a Roboot style animation. <3

To me, the animation really is amazing. Hard to believe this is an American production. From what I have read, RWBY became the first western produced anime-style show to be dubbed in Japanese and distributed in Japan. I bet a lot of the Japanese viewers didn't even realize it's not Japanese but American.

I actually think the animation is probably the weakest aspect of the show. It's nice that they tried something new, but it just ended up looking awful imo. It reminds me of a saturday morning cartoon, or animation from a PS2 game, which is really outdated these days.

The concept was alright though.
