Just can't get passed the house

Houses in England are tiny, especially in London, why did they have to make the interior twice as big as the exterior and then add that random basement?

reply

Because it's easier to film in obviously. Why did they turn the 3-roomed single story farmhouse of the first movie in to some sort of sprawling middle-class hamptons villa? Or why did the wee log cabin in Evil Dead have the means to shelter a 20-strong Albanian family?

It's a movie, yo!

Just adds to the reasons on why it's not accurate both story wise and set. A complete hack, it would've been better if it didn't include the words "true story."

reply

You do know that "Based on the true story" doesn't mean it will be 100% accurate right?

reply

Haha I know the road , completely inaccurate the basement was 3 times the size of the house..... Brilliant?

reply

The basement belonged in a castle

reply

reply

Bollocks. There are no basements in houses like that in London.
