Why no 'Warren' movie about Amityville?

It's there most famous case, yet they keep making bad remakes and reboots that have nothing to do with the Warrens. I would think they would want to make a good one that was accurate from their point of view. Especially since they keep defending that it's not a hoax.

I was actually impressed that they didn't make the sequel about Amityville. It would have felt too obvious, and we've got enough media on it already.

I'm a leaf on the wind. Watch as I'm needlessly impaled.

Probably because there is 10+ Amityville movies already

Exactly. It’s been done way to many times

The Warrens or more Lorraine only went in the home once. Lorraine refuses to enter it ever again. Plus the Amityville movies have been done as awful as most of them were. Plus many still believe it’s a hoax. I’d honestly rather see more about their other cases. They have many and why this dumb Nun thing and Annabelle is being done is beyond me. Their other cases are way more interesting and scary. I had the pleasure of meeting them as a kid. Of course I had no ides why they were till my teens. They were just my grandparents friends. They were very kind and caring. I remember Ed as funny too. He always took time to greet me and not pass over me as many adults would when my grandparents friends came over. It hurts so many put them down and call them frauds. They helped others out of the goodness of their hearts and never took a dime from the families they helped. They believed they had gifts from God and shared their freely. They were people of faith and scam artists.
