Dad on the boar: 'We gotta cut out it's anal...'

The dad says "We gotta cut out it's anal and it's reproductive organs". lol.

For starters, I think he meant it's rectum, not *anus*.

And secondly, why would you need to remove the reproductive organs? They are also edible. In doomsday, you wouldn't be able to be picky about which part of the animal you eat. Again, I think he meant *digestive* organs (intestines and stomach).

I just started watching this on netflix. When male boars are killed toxins from glands around their anus and reproductive organs is released in to the flesh, which can give it a horrible taste or make it completely inedible. So you have to cut them out as fast as possible. In some cultures they actually cut it's balls off before they kill it to protect the meat.
