I took a ride today to see what was going on with the castle, I saw this

In case anyone that lives nearby do not bother you can't get down the main road, I should have done a Google map first.

I drove down state road 39-48 and got to High Meadow drive and that's when I discovered that the road (High meadow drive) leading to Dreugh Evins Drive is blocked by an electronic gate. I am just taking a WAG on this but I think that the whole area leading up to the castle must me an exclusive area. I bast my opinion on the fact that any private road is owned and maintained by the people the live in the community an all maintenance and repairs are paid for by the home owners. From what I can see by looking at the map there are not many homeowners to divide the cost of construction and repairs.

Also from what I can observe from the view from my truck the area was a mixture of very large semi mansions with a few rednecks living in single wides with goats and chickens.

My plan was to try to get close to the castle and maybe use my 4 wheel drive to get close than park and get out and walk my dogs but even if I was able to walk around the gate on foot with my dogs the castle was much too far to walk and there road looked like the where a lot of steep hills to walk up, and after guess-timating it looked as if it would be a 1/2 mile walk up the road and probably an even steeper walk to get from the road to the castle. Then I considered the warning signs stating there were hidden cameras I did not want to risk getting arrested for trespassing on foot

The link below shows the gate blocking the road, if I had done better research and found out the road was blocked I would have picked a better place to visit for a Sunday drive.

Thanks for sharing that. Judging by the mailboxes, there are currently only four houses in the gated community, with the expectation of perhaps four more being built. Seeing that it is so exclusive, I'd be curious to know what the neighbors think of the dubious goings-on at Château Bruns.

The usual, loading rounds into magazines, ordering camouflage tarps off of Amazon, digging an underground bunker and coating it with concrete.
