Subpar dancing from the main character throughout the whole movie. She bombed her audition but still got a part in the play. Oh and she gets selected to be the summer program over all the talented dancers. What was special about Isabelle? Oh, she finally was able to dance on beat during the first production. Why did she even get a part when she bombed the audition? The pro pulled strings for her over all talented dancers.

This movie would have been better if they hadn't made her a special snowflake but instead focused on what she was actually good at - sewing. Let Isabelle discover her real passion after failing at ballet.
