Silence of the Lambs
Lot's of mention in this film, just occured to me after watching it that the door knocking scene at the end (wrong house) is another nod to Clarice and Buffalo Bill.
I noticed that too -- the parallel editing was a direct homage and frankly, for my money, was done significantly better. (I always found that the SotL scenes are a little too heavy-handed, especially the ringing of the doorbells).
