Declined when he found out she's not who she said she was when he suddenly started acting like a teenager. But went all downhill when he run the streets with 50 teenagers, it wasn't funny, it wasn't even weird, it was just stupid. Like they could have fixed that ending in 30 minutes if they just tried
shareI thought the beginning was just as ridiculous. Why did she run after that girl from the train? First Nancy is ignorant to her and doesn't give a crap about the book. And then she starts pursuing the girl insanely for 10 minutes, like her life depends on that book - which btw was obviously left as a present. Absolutely forced and unbelievable way to introduce Pegg's character.
shareI took her chasing Jessica in the beginning as her wanting to tell Jessica to shove it. First she was super pushy with Nancy about the book, then left it bookmarked at the "Your negative thoughts are ruining your life and the lives of those around you" page. I think Nancy wanted to track her down to tell her to piss off.
