BRILLIANT film totally RUINED by its duggar endorsement!

So I watched this film the other night. At first glance it seemed to be one of the best films I've ever seen! I was even going to replace my current sig with a new one that promoted this film from now on.

Then right after the closing credits...they put an endorsement for josh duggar! What the heck?!

In so doing, they have completely ruined the entirety of the masterpiece of this film.

Now, I understand this film was made before they knew about duggar so on that basis, I was willing to cut them some slack.

But then I did a web search to see if Mr. Comfort still supports duggar now that everyone knows about duggar, and according to what the media says, Mr. Comfort does still support duggar.

As a result, I can no longer endorse this film.

But I deeply regret that Mr. Comfort chooses to ruin this brilliant work with his (unless the media was lying) continued support for duggar.

No, I'm not kidding.

Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron are among the very few high profile Bible-believing Christians in the world. That makes it all the more the shame to see one of them ruin his great work for no good reason with an unnecessary & nefarious endorsement.

Ray Comfort is a sick, twisted con man who lives of the gullibility and ignorance of others. Not to mention their pain. If anything they make Christianity look awful. You really cant see that?

No, Friday, I can't see that, except for in one regard: the fact that Comfort's endorsement/defense of duggar is very inappropriate & creepy.

Its Ray Comfort. C'mon everyone knows how twisted he is. Hes makes millions on other peoples misery. He just goes around judges people then directs them to his ministry to but his crap. Plus he instructed people to kill themselves slowly in 1979. Hes a complete sociopath. And yes I agree his Duggar endorsement sucks as well.

He wrote a book called More Than Just Comfort: An Answer to Cancer in which people where instructed to not treat their cancer. Something to do with God not approving. So in which case they would have a slow and painful death and not seek the treatment to save their lives. Like I said hes a sick, twisted man.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know about that book before you mentioned it here.

When I try to search about that book, I see various atheist posts that claim to quote from it...but I have no way to be sure of if the quotations on those sites are accurate or not. I'm not saying they are inaccurate, but I need to be sure.

Do you have any source that have a way to prove/guarantee that its quotations from that book are accurate?

I cant find any Christian sites who talk about the book. Either because the book is rare or they want nothing to do with it. I see that mostly atheists sites talk about the book but atheist site or not those sites are exactly accurate about the book.

Well, I'm not exactly sure what to do now. On one hand, I would have to disavow Ray Comfort if he actually said those things. On the other hand, I have no way to be sure whether or not those quotations are accurate.

For example, what if one atheist site fabricated the quotation, then all the others ones copy and pasted the fabricated quotation from each other?

At least one of them should have taken photos of the book's page that says those things...that would have cleared up the ambiguity a lot better.

I assure you its all true. In fact I got one worse for you. This is from Rays official facebook page. After Ray found out about Josh Duggar molesting his sisters Ray posted this supporting him.

I admit that that's very sick on Ray's part.

However, liberals are equally sick when they support lena dunham for doing something similar to what duggar did. Yet liberals always turn a blind eye to that and/or pretend that it's fine. Those same liberals who give dunham a free pass (wrongly so) condemn duggar (rightly so). That's a very sick form of hypocrisy.
