Definitely fake

When he hit the penguin or stole things, they just let him go without calling the cop??? Give me a break.

I don't remember him just going. At the end of the scene he probably told them it was for a movie and they paid for damages. Quite simple really.

If you watch the "Making Of" features on the DVD; the penguin was actually MADE by the film and put there for the purpose of being hit (notice how it's make of styrofoam)...

Even still, the man's reactions were real. I'd still count is as real.

How could it be real with all the different camera angles and clear sound?

reply

Didn't you see the end of the movie? It showed the cameramen and women all in their hideouts and things. There was one camera woman hiding in a bin disguise. And as for the sound, concealed and wireless microphone technology isn't that new...

Before they do any prank, they get permission from the owners if it's in a business, so only the owners know, but the other employees and customers wouldn't know. They also notify the police departments, as they have always done with Jackass. Plus, peoples' first instinct probably isn't to call the cops on a little old man. There's no way it's fake. Knoxville loves pranking, so I doubt he'd have any fun if it were all fake.
