Better than Borat

I don't know about you guys, but humor here is so original, so pure.. i consider this better than Borat, and Johnny is really good actor... too bad he doesn't have many roles. He would be perfect for Tony Montana in Scarface (2014)

Sorry, I was totally unconvinced by his performance. Johnny K. IS not a good actor. His range is severely limited. I wasn't convinced at all he was an old man. It was clear he was an actor in makeup trying to get a rise out of unsuspecting onlookers. The movie was just a series of lame bits strung together by a thin plot.

reply

Well stated...I'm in total agreement. The ol' man lead here was so not funny, whereas Borat was hilarious.

both films were very similar, but Borat was much more funny IMO. I didn't get to see BG in the theater but when I saw Borat that movie had one of the best reactions to any film I've ever seen in a theater.

Come at the king, you best not miss.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the other replies. Borat is far superior. Knoxville and co just simply attempted to copy the formula and fell massively on there arse. Baron Cohen is just a genius.

Borat is a little funnier than this one because of the foreign aspect LOL. But Bad Grandpa isnt too far behind.

I guess I have to go with Borat for being pretty ridiculous. The Jackass movies were actually funnier than BG but BG did a good job establishing a story with funny side stories in between.

Borat to me had much more of a social commentary aspect to it. Sure it had silly, pranking fun. But it also addressed things like homophobia & anti-semitism.

I fell asleep on Borat so I'm going to go with this as well.
