Sounds interesting

I hope to see you play the games as well. There are a lot of obscure games Ive never seen.

Thanks! We certainly show a bunch of games, but I wouldn't say that there is a lot of time dedicated to game play as the film looks more at the collecting side and examination of the system and library, citing relevant examples along the way. Cheers! NintendoQuest.com

This sounds like an awesome concept for a "roadaumentary". Plus the NES's game library and their stories often are super fascinating on their own. Though your quest seems a bit optimistic in my eyes, but of course bigger odds mostly creates better entertainment.

Personally I hope that you also are gonna dive down into some of the more obscure, rare and expensive NES titles, and explore and explain why they are so rare and expensive - since just watching people chase and buy old games probably can't be entertaining for an entire movie.
But either I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Yo.

Hey!
Thanks for chiming in again! It's certainly a balancing act with all the elements at play (road trip, NES, rare games, game stores, personalities, etc) so we try and cater to the best parts of each at the most relevant times. It's certainly not a "party on the road with a box of video games" film, but it's far from a in depth look at the top 100 games. There's only so much we could understandably achieve in 92 minutes but we think it's a fun film that at the very least will generate discussion and praise for maybe some lesser known titles, and just a new sense of appreciate for the NES, in general.

It was a good doc pyre. Shows how awesome gamers are in real life and not just trolls like on the internet.
