I thoroughly enjoyed this film - wonderfully acted, beautiful story and fabulous characters.
It always saddens me when high quality films like this don't enjoy a wider release. Most people I know haven't even heard of it and my husband and I only caught it on it's last night in our town.

I found this to be a thought-provoking and quality film.
I was afraid it would end up in romance for Clarkson and Kingsley, but so glad it didn't go down that formulaic highway.
Lots of scenes were so worthy of discussion - her date with the pretentious (and tantric!) banker, Jasleen finally leaving the apartment, driving past her childhood home in Queens, and more.
You were fortunate to see this film in a movie theater - I had seen the previews last summer and missed it because I'm pretty sure it was only in the theatre for about a week!

Yes, wonderful movie. I hadn't heard about it before, but happened to come across it in the Amazon Prime. It was a very nice surprise.
