What just left a bad taste in my mouth pronounciation of Punjab

NO Its not POONJAB..
How can they make someone playing a sikh not pronounce it properly.
Sikhs should be enraged. I am not one.
Common Pun in Pun intended is pronounced the same as Pun in Punjab. SO why the *beep* is it i so difficult to pronounce it.

No wonder so many americans pronounce it this way if they see a "sikh"(well Ben did a great job at the role) pronouncing it wrongly.

I can understand accents but I think this is just Sublime Racism. They just find an Name or place from another race and just think of pronounce it wrongly.

Pun Punter So many words with PUN.. Its basic rules of English. Puny is pronounced as puuny but it followed by a y thats why.

Jeez I don't believe they could not find the right pronunciation of Punjab.

Next time I meet an American I am going to pronounce America as A...Mer....I...Ka

You are insinuating Ben Kingsley is an American who cannot pronounce an Indian region, an Englishman of Indian heritage. His pronuncation isn't that bad, and either way it's very far from "sublime racism". Get a life.

Other than that, how did you like the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
