She makes Billy Ray Cyrus look like Brando for crying out loud!
What if a child dreamed of becoming something other than what society had intended?
I've only really seen her in Big Lebowski, where she didn't have a lot of speaking lines (or screen time for that matter), but her acting was OK in the poolside scene. Maybe she's just one of those actors who are practically puppets and do a good job in the hands of good directors and an awful job in the hands of a bad one, while guys like Zeiring manage to do a decent job in spite of being directed by the Ed Wood of the 2010s.

I finally saw the as it turns out criminally underrated Van Wilder recently, and she was just as dead, flat, and unable to express anything in that movie as she was in these, er, films. Ryan Reynolds was acting circles around her. And I think that was like 2003 or 4 or something. But she was beautiful then, and sweet if dim, and so you put up with it and liked her anyway.
On the other hand, in the first American Pie, which was 1999 maybe? She was actually pretty ok. Looking back you can see the same problems, but she did not stand out as awful.

shareI think the biggest problem was that she fried her few brain cells with drugs-so there's nothing left. And she looked glassy eyed in many scenes-I suspect shes back on the drugs.
