Weird thing in the credits

During the credits there was a message that said (paraphrasing as I don't remember the exact wording) "We tried to follow copyright law but could not contact the owner of the copyright. If you own the copyright, please contact us." What were they referring to? The statement was immediately following the list of songs, but separate from them, and right before the "No animals or kids were harmed in the making of this film".
