Death of the scouts

I liked this film . It was not as good as what I imagined it to be but I still enjoyed it..
with that said I didnt like that the majority of the scouts were all taken out at the same time grouped in the tent and then getting plowed by the truck...
I would of liked to see Kai go one on one with some of the more agressive scouts, the bully types... kind of a missed opportunity..

Well this was made with crowd funding money so im sure they didnt have a huge budget. But I feel the same way, they def needed to flush out some more kills. Not to mention what happened to the other two scouts that lived. But like I said they probably had time and money constraints.

Fantastic concept though.. A few things I might of done different but overall I liked this film.. It had endless potential..

It worked for me, really. Something like that would never even be suggested at in some mainstream hollywood production, so the fact that it just happened so bluntly and how they went for it was kind of refreshing.

Maybe the kid who escaped that was friends with Sam, would become a helper? Or since Sam turned on the woman too... perhaps not.

I agree that this film would of never been released by a major studio.. the killing of children on screen has always been taboo for the most part here in the US with a few exceptions even with that most kills involving children are usually off screen kills.. This movie had more than a few.. Correct assessment based on Sam Killing the girl in vicious fashion that nobody was safe including his one friend, who may of gotten a pass but its more probable that he didnt. I still feel like the main kids that were giving Sam sh!t deserved a more fitting death for a couple of bullies.Im not even sure the one kid died as he slipped out the tent, I'm gonna have to revisit the film..

*spoilers*
Unlike American films, they whacked a bunch of kids, why not believe that unlike American films, the film didn't feel that automatic need to show the "bad kids" get it after the credits roll.

It was brutal, even if the gore was implied. But it did smack of narrative convenience. They didn't want to deal with what so many characters would mean to the plot they had in mind so they just wrote them all out in one fell swoop.

Only two kids walk away from the truck massacre, and then they both just disappear anyway. I know there were budget limitations here, but this seems like a failure of imagination at least as much as it is a failure of resources. This film had tons of potential at every turn, but it failed to deliver more and more as it went on. Lots of missed opportunities here.
