They've made her character so grating, bitter and condescending that the show is almost unwatchable when she's on screen.

I don't agree - she is a perfect counterpoint to Michelle's meekness. She is a mess and that is why she is an interesting character.

I loved her. I felt she was a supporting character that was completely defined and interesting in her own right.

When you killed Abbie Mills you killed Sleepy Hollow. #ShadyHollow

I too think she was great!! I think if you re-watched it and imagined it without her you would probably hate it even more lol She seemed to break up a bit of the "whiny-ness" of some of the characters at times. She didn't have the luck but the brawn and behavior to encourage everyone else to step up.

I had seen her in some of her earlier films and she's got a lot of pizzazz so I was sort expecting her to bring some of that wild and random energy into this show, and she did right away. So I thought it was very entertaining and enjoyed her contribution.
