What do people see in this show?

With the exception of Gumball, and Regular Show, Cartoon Network has gone down the drain!

I agree BUT, Clarence and Steven Universe are also good shows. It might take you a while to get used to them, but give them a chance like I have. Teen Titans go, though is a terrible show in my opinion. Its the only funny or enjoyable moment for me was when Robin was dancing during Drivers Ed. But Gumball, Regular Show and Clarence are my favorites right now. I really miss The Looney Tunes show. I enjoyed the concept of all our beloved characters living and coexisting in one town. Brilliant!

I didn't care for this show at first, but it has grown on me. I think my opinion of it started to change when I saw the episode that was like a silent film. I realized the show wasn't as dumbed down as I first thought it was.

My favorite CN shows are:
Amazing World of Gumball
Steven Universe
Teen Titans Go! (I think it's hilarious)
Adventure Time

Don't really care for Regular Show.
Can't stand Uncle Grandpa

It's been the opposite for me. I really prefer the simple, slice-of-life, kids being kids style of the earlier episodes (A Pretty Great Day With a Girl is still my favorite by far) compared to the more surreal nature of the current ones.

That said, I still enjoy the show. Just not as much, and for different reasons.

You saw Dingleberries?

Yeah, I think the people who have a problem with the show are actually "dumber" than Clarence.

Clarence started off being a show about real kids, not what adults pretend kids are. In an adults eyes, Jeff is what they strive to turn their child into, destroying their child's potential and ruining their life in the process; but Clarence is what most children actually are.

Though there are kids who have different ways of learning, which is to say that Jeff's way is what works for Jeff; most kids are going to learn by "doing stupid things" and interacting with their environment. NOT by "playing a game on your phone." "Learning" useless stuff like Math, Science and English at a young age is pointless; encouraging the child to develop it's imagination and gain the infinitely more powerful capacity to make connections between unlike ideas to derive new ideas will create that one of a kind engineer or doctor.

And yes, I am serious, Math and Science are absolutely worthless in the real world. If all you NEEDED was Math and Science then "I" could write a computer program to do your job. The real issue is ingenuity, creativity, intuition; a grasp of the things you were never taught but can see it working based on what you already know. Creative Genius goes a long way in this world, and you don't get there by taking away a child's "creativity."

I'm with you for the most part (well my kids are mostly but I watch along too) The only change I would make is we really like the Regular show and only quite like Steven Universe.

It's the only show on Cartoon Network that I currently like. I enjoy the slice-of-life moments since that's not something you see often in cartoons anymore, hardly at all since the 90s. So there's a bit of that nostalgia factor for me. Most of the characters are also pretty entertaining.

I think it's great, one of the best on the network right now. It's a funny and non-idealistic view of childhood. Some of the more recent episodes have gotten a little less realistic but I always look forward to a new one. I thought "Tuckered Boys" was unbelievable in premise (the boys stay up late resulting in LSD-like hallucinations)but the trippy animation was top notch.

Some parts of the show remind me of childhood, with various '80s references. It's also a slice of life of how tough kids can be in any era, especially since Clarence is so innocent and wants to be everyone's friend.

I don't enjoy the weird, trippy episodes though or how liberal they try to be on a kids' show with lesbian parents.

This show is hysterical. You either get it or you don't.

You don't.

It's about an annoying kid who annoys everyone, and has the brain of a kid who knows nothing about life (Luckily, no such thing as the latter exists).

reply

I think you just described half of Regular show..

It's me....Bara...it's always bloody Bara!

reply

That's not at all what it's about, but think what you want.

reply

Adventure Time is horrible. Constant screaming and annoying sounds.

reply

Now that I agree with, not sure why I placed it on the list.

I THINK IT'S A DECENT SHOW
