Madoka Magica
Has any one watched this Anime series? It was great short series and powers where similar to the crystal gems.

I especially loved how we didn't see Madoka transform until the very despite her being the main character of the show. VERY well done. Also, her wish was FLAWLESS. I had been thinking what mine would be if I were offered and contract and it was similar. But, after hearing hers, I see the fallacy in my own. She deserved to ascend like she did.
Do you know of any other anime/shows similar to Puella Magi Madoka Magica?
Ah glad you enjoyed it! I had the exact same feeling and I can see Steven's character developing in the same way as Madoka's
While there are loads of Magical Girl shows i'm not sure about one's that deconstruct the genre like Madoka Magica did. You can however watch the sequel film online. But be warned some fans hated it!
