Ruby and Sapphire

I'm really not liking these two when they're not fused. I mean, they were interesting in Keystone Motel because they were actually apart from each other, but I don't find the constant flirting to be "cute" like a lot of other people might.

Why? I love seeing how much they love each other. How free they are with their affection and how proud they are of each other and their relationship. It's beautiful.

Because it's annoying and cost them the game (and almost costed Peridot her life)?

Well even though they ruined the game I'm pretty sure the combined forces of the CGs and Lapis could easily take down the big ruby.

I sort of agree with you but for different reasons. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing more of Sapphire and Ruby and I adore seeing them interact with the other gems, Steven, and even each other but during the Jailbreak fiasco it was implied that they've been Garnet for thousands of years because they couldn't stand being apart, so seeing them unfuse as often as they have (even though it's only been 2 or 3 times) kinda hurts that fact. Not dismissing that they haven't unfused inbetween the time of their first fusion (obviously it took a few reformations before we got from cotton candy Garnet to the One we see today) but I imagine those were far and few inbetween. I think they should show them much less in the main storyline and perhaps more in flashbacks so we can remember that Garnet is still her own person and not just Ruby and Sapphire's conversation. That being said, Hit The Diamond was possibly my second favorite episode ever!

Would've been weird if Sapphire accidentally fused with a different Ruby. I know, you might say that's unlikely, but their first fusion was largely by accident.

Would've led to a different Garnet. That would've been odd, too.
