Has Steven Universe peaked?

Future Boy Zoltron
Onion Gang
Gem Harvest
Last One Out of Beach City

Past 4 episodes(not in order of course) have been ok(Last one out of beach city) to outright terrible(Zoltron,Onion gang). It feels like the show has peaked and looked a bit lost ever since Mindful education really.

I know every episode cant be a classic like that, but it seems even the little slice of life soft episodes are not as strong as they used to be. Is Steven Universe finally going the way of Adventure Time and growing stale?

Gem Harvest really was a disappointment. 23 minutes, and everything still felt jumbled and forced.

Too early to say. Shows go through ups and downs. And I didn't really think those eps were terrible. Filler, yes, but not terrible. And Last One Out of Beach City had some good Pearl character development (even if her behaviour was reprehensible yet again)

Never say "Worst movie ever" to someone who's seen Highlander 2

The show clearly does much better when it focuses on the central story.

The filler episodes stand out as awkwardly as they do in anime filler episodes... which they shouldn't in this series since the creators don't need to waste time waiting for a comic series to move ahead.

The latest Arc was much better than most of the filler and some of those moody episodes that came out in 2016!

There's still the winter special to look forward to.

Bitch, don't compare Steven Universe to Adventure Time. Adventure Time was never good, it is not good and it will never be good.

Those episodes are okay, but not bad. Gem Harvest was pretty good and you have bad taste.

The show was pretty mediocre in the start and these episodes have nothing truly bad in them.

Some BODY once told me.
