Steven's Dream/ Adventures In Light Distortion (Discussions)

Well, I sure as hell don't want to get spoiled ASAP by this show's incredibly vocal fanbase so I might as well start this Bomb early. Can I do them all in one night? I doubt it, but here goes...

Steven's Dream: while the past few episodes were rather light-hearted, it does feel as if Steven's outburst feels kind of earned at this point. Yes, he knows Rose isn't perfect but I think it's been well-established at this point (if the videotape didn't stay it enough) that she could never be tarnished in his eyes. Still, you'd think the Gems would at least barricade Steven in his room first thing after he learnt about the palanquin. But nope, just a casual quick trip to Korea under their noses. Anyway, it's an exciting start so far.

The animation studio scene would have been even funnier if Greg saw Say Uncle in production.

Adventures In Light Distortion: okayyyy, a bit muddled tone-wise. Mostly 75% wacky space travel shenanigans, 25% tearful confession from a child in peril. Didn't add much to the plot outside of hologram programming that the audience probably knew beforehand. Hopefully it'll pick up in the next instalment. (yeah, I'm sure it's fine leaving the Rubies to rot.)

Steven's Dream: Garnet screws up. Greg screws up. Greg and Steven should've run away. Would Blue Diamond have bothered to chase them down? Pearl needs to pay attention and stop being secretive. It's telling that the least responsible character, Amethyst, is blameless for any events her.

Andy returns...but a biplane ride from the Delware area to Korea? That's gonna take time and those open cockpits won't be pleasant.

Curious that Korea has the area of the palanquin wreck fenced off.

Big thing here...how come Steven can see through Blue Diamond's eyes? Unlike the other people's dreams he's entered, he's never met her. And Steven has her tears manifesting on himself. Hmmm...

Adventures In Light Distortion: Ones of those "Pearl with the longer uglier nose" episodes. It might be the weakest part of the arc. It's not a bad episode...other than leaving Peridot behind...Lapis non-speaking cameo.

Little tired of the Gems ignorance of human life spans. You've been on earth 5 millenia at least.

I wonder if the Gems and Steven return and find Beach City messed up...Lapis and Peridot got some explaining to do!

Steven dream

Steve can go into others dream interact but able to see thru eyes of a Diamond when she awake seem he powers are growing.

He can cry when blue diamond does, but question I am going to say how can see thru eyes of diamond let alone cry her tears.
Beside if blue would of notice that Steve can see thru her eyes She would of seen him comings.

Friend of mine said that pink diamond is now human form of Steven or partly rose and rest shattered diamond explain he can see thru eye of a diamond

Steven's Dream
I knew that palanquin illustration from "Buddy's Book" would come back to get us sooner or later...it got us worse than I thought. Steven's anger at not being told anything is justifiable. Especially since many fans have felt that way for a while themselves.
The montage in Kora was fun though. Though it makes me wonder if there's no North or South versions in this world . Also, go figure that Greg would connect with a Diamond of all people, even if things did go bad. And Blue Pearl sounds JUST like how I imagined her.
Also...I think Pearl almost mentioned White Diamond.

Adventures in Light Distortion

Hi Navy! Bye Navy!
Though where's Leggy?! 

That was more eventful and interesting than I thought it would be. Trippy too. Though I could've done without the repressed 2001: A Space Odysseys flashbacks.

Though there are 3 things that stand out to me about this episode...
1) Turns out Greg is about 40
2) Does this mean there's a race of gnome-sized Gems 
3) I think they set up the plot for "The New Crystal Gems" (Connie's gonna get the spotlight!)
