... I'd like to see more interviews!
TV writing interests me and the behind the scenes processes are really interesting. Also, Jim Rash is brilliant ... very intelligent guy and a great host.
I'd like to see some interviews with a couple of my favourite new shows in 2013, like Vikings, Orphan Black and Hannibal. Also, interviews with the writers behind popular animated series, like Adventure Time and The Legend of Korra.
I was watching it, and thought the same thing about how awesome it would be if the Hannibal crew could be on that, or bates motel, or even longer running shows like game of thrones.
shareAre you Jim Rash or related to him? I can think of no other explanation for your claim that he is "brilliant ... very intelligent guy and a great host." He's pompous, speaks in a pretentious manner, speaks rudely to and cuts off his guests, etc. "Obnoxious" is the best word for this person. I watched the Breaking Bad episode - here, the guy has a chance to interview some great writers and blows it - and decided not to watch any more of his bumbling "interviews".
shareI enjoyed the show and hope it comes back. They absolutely should have the team from Justified on. Orphan Black would be great too.
shareI hope this show doesn't turn into "Inside the Actors Studio". IAS started out great but then it eventually ended up being aimless chit chat with the guests. Hopefully the "Writer's Room" will stay on focus and talk about the actual writing on a show instead of the people's personal lives.
