I get that taker's friends with lesnar but does no one think its an insult to guy's he worked with for years such as hbk or hhh that should have broken it.I think (in story line terms at the time)guys such as punk,Jericho or even (am not his biggest fan)cena should have beaten him,then they can carry on a legacy whereas lesnar will be away after wm 31.personally I would have one of the shield as they are the future!!
sharesee actually back in 2006-07, Taker wanted Lesnar to break his streak. And he asked Vince for that. But Lesnar was not with WWE and things did not work out.
If Lesnar beat Taker at WM 26 or 25, well it would have been fine.
But now I don't think it was a good decision to make Taker lose after coming all the way to WM 30.
And a new member from Shield? NO Thanks.
We have seen how well WWE created new main eventers.
It could have been very possible, that Rollins might have beaten Taker at mania, and one year later, he might he fighting in the pre-mania Battle Royal.

shareI know im nearly two years late but, as a fan who watched wwe for as long as i couldve remembered, mind you im only 18 now. But having lesner break the streak(someone who leaves wwe and goes back every so often) to me was a slap in the face. HBK shouldve done it at wm25, hbk was an idol to so many people growing up, he had such a good in ring gimmick and i dont know about the actual person, but the character shawn michaels was definitely one of the best highlights and people pleasing that the biz has ever seen, i still feel like i get slapped in the face every time i think about lesner beating taker.
