Samuel can actually be funny and charming

right on popeye, that dude was portrayed to be beyond weird at first but now that he's loosening up and he's out of his Amish-wear he's one of my favorites. cracks me up in a naive, innocent kind of way. poor guy wasn't blessed in the looks department but i still hope to see him get some action in LA.

Lol @ the Amish version of Lurch .. love that one! Anyway, I think he's actually sort of cute in a weird, dorky way.

I felt badly for him when the stylist at the salon was telling the camera how terrible he smelled, I wondered if anyone finally told him or if it occurred to him that he needed to use deodorant along with his "makeover". I thought about it again when he was dancing with and kissing the girl at the Compton party. Didn't Samuel say that the party was the same night of the day he did the construction work? If so, I'm pretty sure he was wearing the same clothes that he had gotten all sweaty in while working earlier that day. That just couldn't have been a good situation at all haha.

at first i really disliked him. but one thing i can't fault him on, his devotion to lizzie. he went with her to the exercise class, ultrasound and supported her in everything. the way he revealed the sex of the baby was surpringly lovey, getting amtt to make 2 sets of baby clothes and presenting a (stereotyped) sex colour to her to tell her. also he helped iva bake which was nice. he grew on me but i still would never find him cute
