why does Brie seem like they dont make money?

i get being smart and knowing that the money doesnt last, but honestly how much do they make, with the endorsement deals, tv show, and the wrestling career. They have to be combined pulling in over a mill a year right? the endorsement deals and tv show alone are where they would make bank.

She has stated before that they do not live beyond their means, so wouldnt they be stockpiling money into savings and investments. When you start to make a certain amount of money, you have to start investing in things, such as properties and businesses because your money get crazy taxed on if it just sits in accounts...

I feel like she is making it out like they are broke...

I think she's thinking about what it would be like to lose that income. Anything else would be less stable because she's not looking to get a nine to five. In fact, I think that when she's done with wrestling she just plans to become a mom and nothing else. I think she's just stressing over what it would be like to only have Daniels income then and how that would affect their situation. Not because they wouldn't have as much but because she knows it would be different. They'd have the same bills and stuff like that but they'd be counting on less money so she'd have to rethink how they spend their leisure money or if they even should spend it. In wrestling you can be out for months due to an injury which would reduce their income anytime it happened to them or anytime that a storyline called for it so with her out of wrestling (or at least thinking about it) and with Daniel having the possibility of being out any day for any given amount of time means they have to have a plan.

I asked the same thing. And last night wasn't the first time she said something like that. She acts like they are poor when clearly they're not. Maybe she is thinking more into the future, like if they both aren't working they won't be making any money. So right now is the time for them to make money.

I like how Brie and Daniel drive a Honda Fit.

Well don't forget that they might be earning a lot of money with WWE but it's not like five figures just automatically goes into their bank account and stays there. They're on the road for most of the year - paying for their own travel and accommodation. Only a handful of top stars in WWE get their flights paid for. So most of their income goes on paying for flights, hotels, gas and food on the road. So saving money while working for WWE is a bit of a challenge. So she essentially has to balance paying these ongoing road expenses while also putting enough money away for the future when her situation abruptly changes.

What's more is that they're probably getting extra money from the reality show. When Brie leaves WWE, the two of them are off that as well and can't rely on that money either.

I'm gonna die of long hair!

They seem to be smart with their money which is s good thing. In wrestling you are only one injury away from losing everything.

I think it's kind of refreshing to see someone in the entertainment field actually acknowledge that someday they might be in a position where the incoming revenue stops or lessens significantly. The reason so many pro athletes/entertainers end up broke is when times are high, when they are making 2-5 million a year for example, they don't think enough about what life is going to be like when they aren't making 2-5 million a year. Especially true in athletics as once you're 35-40 in the NFL, to pick a league, you're done in that sport. Your mortgage doesn't magically disappear when your last contract expires. The need to feed and educate , future college tuition, your children doesn't evaporate. And there are tons of other things I could add.

They're scared of being unemployment or single again. They left WWE to make it on their own and realized how hard it was when the WWE checks stopped coming in.
